Review on Pea's book of Birthdays by Susie Day

Review by: Cocopanda.

Pea is about to turn 12. She is stuck for ideas on her birthday party. Meanwhile, her friends are swapping horses for boy bands with swooshy hair. Pea wants to be Mature and Sophisticated  so decides to do a sleepover party, which her friends think is a wonderful idea. She wants to invite Sam, her best boy mate, but  her friends tell her it's not allowed. Is this really what growing up is? Pea wants her real father to come to her party (what ever party it is) but is it so easy trying to find the right Ewan MacGregor (not the actor!)?
In the end Pea ends up with.... well I am not going to tell you. You you to find out yourself!

I think this book is great for 9 - 12 girls who like Cathy Cassidy and Jacqueline Wilson. I will read the other books in the series for sure. Look out for reviews on books by Susie Day by me!
